In the past, I've always tended to be a second-guesser. Since my brain operates by generating solutions to problems - all the time! - second-guessing is the continuation of that process. But that's where doubt creeps in. Am I sure this solution will work? What if it doesn't? Oh, I don't know... What other things can I DO? What? What? WHAT??

When I learned to lean into God, and clearly hear His voice, I had to re-train that option-finding mind to Word-based thinking. If I dwell on the things of God that build and renew my mind, then I can rest in having the mind of Christ.

DOUBT is a faith-killer. When the Lord gives me a solution, I don't have to look/wonder/worry any longer ... but I do need to step out in faith and walk out His solution. And when the doubts come, discipline my mind to set them aside, and continue my walk of faith. Make the Word-action choice to 'doubt those doubts'!
