| BLESSING SKU: 028 When the Word repeats a phrase or a word over and again within a verse, it's just as if we had clicked the "bold", "italic", and "Underline" buttons on our computer. It means PAY ATTENTION - This is important. It is the Holy Spirit's way of emphasizing a point or an idea so that we GET it. Look at this verse. How many times is the word "blessing" used? I know that as a child of God, that He wants to bless me. Many times in His word He emphasizes that, promises that; it is a part of my covenant with Him. I know that this promise includes the "if I do my part" concept, but you need to KNOW: He doesn't expect perfection. He expects the best we can do in any given situation, at any time. The blessing of God comes in any case - it's called GRACE. God IS good, and He's good to US! |
